Default Is it possible... (Uber n00b question) - 02-28-2009, 06:42 AM

Is it possible to install OS X to the mini with Ubuntu rather than XP?
I cant seem to find any tutorials on it anywhere... Or is it the same thing as XP?

Yes you can. The only differences are these:
Hopefully you have a real Mac if you don't have an external DVD drive, that is the only way you'll be able to install from USB flash drives.
If you do have an external DVD drive then it is simply a matter of being able to burn the ISO necessary to boot.

You can find instructions in my How-To listed at the bottom of my post.

I do have a real Mac. Could you forward me a link that could possibly give me the best advice?

I actually was writing my post while you wrote yours, so I wasn't referring to you either. Glad we're in the same boat.
