I am having trouble with step 13.
13. Expand that zipfile on a Windows PC (I know... I also wish there was a Mac only solution... for now this is what it is). In the win32 subdirectory there is an executable called syslinux.exe. Connect your USB key you just formatted to that PC. At the command line, run syslinux -ma f: (assuming F: is the drive letter referring to your freshly formatted USB stick; replace with the correct one if necessary)
I am much of a mac guy, and not so much of a pc guy. I thought I was doing this right. I am attaching the drive (D
Unzipped the syslinux-3.63 to a new folder on the desktop called syslinux. Going to the run command and typing in (minus the quotes) "syslinux -ma d:" and I am getting a message saying "Windows cannot find 'syslinux.' Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search."
I dont know what I am doing wrong, but I would love to get past this step, and I cant find anything more about this step in the forums. Do I need to put the folder somewhere else on the PC?
Thanks for all of your help!!
