Default Stupid Question - 02-26-2009, 09:56 PM

Hey this is pretty stupid, But does installing OS X void warranty and is it possible to use it as the sole OS and not install windows?

I would not see how it would void the warranty but they are not going to support your technical question. I never had windows on my mini.

No, but just be aware that if you have a hardware problem and elicit Dell for support, they may want to run the diagnostics before replacing anything. If you wipe the diagnostics partition off the SSD you may have to come up with a way of running it off USB or CD if that time ever comes.

This is where ordering a separate drive like the Runcore comes in handy. Keep the original drive in a safe place so you have a backup for testing and troubleshooting.
