I should add a bit more logic to keep hiding files part of the upgrade... should not be that hard ;-)

I fixed the hide files logic. The only think missing now to go beta is the update to the DSDTPatcher. When it is done all that will be left to do is package the whole thing as v1.1 beta 1 and release.

Well, good news then.
I've uploaded the changes for the patcher to svn and it seams to be working (I havent actualy tested the aml file yet...)
I'm going to add code to disable the fn-8 to the patcher next. I should have that done within half an hour

The new dsdt patcher is attached. It replaces the battery device with a new one that reports information correctly. It also disables the _Q1C method which handles the fn-8 button press so that you wont get a corrupt display when you press it.

This works fine on already patched so you don't need to delete the current one. It also will run fine if you run it on a dsdt.aml file which already has the battery fix.

I'm going to say this again.
the main bug with this is that when the battery is charging, it does not report a charge rate. This will result in the battery meter saying Calculating... or similar until the battery is charged. I'm still working on this, and in the mean time I'll upload a new kext that guesses the time remaining like the old one.

Excellent! I will give the DSDTPatcher a try. I will then update the installer to make sure it forces a refresh of the dsdt.aml during the installation if one is already there.
