Default USB Ports no longer working - 02-17-2009, 06:17 PM

Hello all

After installing 10.5.4 on my Mini 9 and getting the wifi, sound and SD card reader working i have a new problem. None of the USB drives i plug in come up as a drive. Have i crippled the USB by getting the SD cards to work?

Any help will be gratefully received

I don't think 10.5.4 is supported. Can you try upgrading to 10.5.6 and installing the newest DellEFI?

Dell Mini 9 | Mac OS X 10.6.2 | 2 Jigabytes RAM | 32 Jigabyte STEC SSD | Bios A05
NetbookInstaller 0.8.3 | USB Legacy Mode off | No camera

Ditto what chazzek said. You need to be on 10.5.6 and then after the reboot use the DellEFI application to get your system fully functional.

Dell Mini 9 with a STEC 64gb SSD running OS X Leopard 10.5.6
MBP (Early 2008 model) 2.4, 200GB 7200 RPM, 4GB
Mac Mini 1.83Ghz, 80GB, 4GB
