Default Artifacts while browsing? - 02-14-2009, 03:18 PM

Hey guys/gals,

Alrighty, I tried searching for this and couldn't find a solution. Basically in either Firefox or Safari I have artifacts that appear in certain webpages. If I go to or or any website that uses whatever they're using, I get these big black shapes all over the screen with lines that go to the top. Did I remove a language file or something that caused this? I'm assuming its systematic to my setup since it happens in both browsers. Does anyone know how to mitigate this? It can be a little annoying at times .

Thank you!!

What version of DellEFI do you run? Version 1.06 has new drivers that fix artifacts issues.

Running 1.07 beta 2 I do not have any issues with those sites.

Dell Mini 9
OS X 10.5.6

I'm running 1.06. I really don't think its tied to that issue. I called it "artifacts" for lack of a better term. It looks like black half circles with lines that go up to the top of the browser window. Any other ideas? Thanks B .
