The aim of the release is to improve both stability and performance however there might be problems due to handling of interrupts. Changes are: - retry on I/O timeout (prev. releases became irressponsible) - detect card removals during operation - lower CPU utilization (the driver is now interrupt-driven) To install the driver onto a DellEFI-based system: 1) unzip the driver 2) sudo cp -r IOSDHCIBlockDevice.kext /Extra/Extensions1/ 3) sudo kextcache -a i386 -m /Extra/Extensions.mkext /Extra/Extensions1 4) reboot If you find any problem and willing to help improvement, PLEASE INCLUDE ALL FOLLOWING INFORMATION. - vendor name and product name of the SD card - output of "sudo dmesg" when the error occurred |

Sometimes I wonder if people realize all the work you have contributed to this project. Any way, Thank you! 8GB SSD, 1GB RAM OS X 10.5.6 |

I noticed a stream of commands being displayed at boot time for SDHC... are those to remain for ever or will they eventually be removed? Wondering if this is a side effect of debug code in the driver. 8GB SSD, 1GB RAM OS X 10.5.6 |
