Default Is multithreading enabled? - 02-10-2009, 08:47 PM

I have seen multithreading (or hyperthreading, whatever you want to call it) mentioned in random posts that I can no longer find. Furthermore the search turned up nothing really conclusive, the closest I got was a thread about the SD slot driver that wasn't multithreaded. So is it possible in OS X, and if so is it enabled by default in the DellEFI/Type11 installs, or do I need a kext?

OS X does see the hyperthreaded 2nd virtual processor instance of the N270.
