Should the Mac OS "HD" be formatted as Journaled or not? I am a little unsure on this option in the partitioning setup using the Type11 method.

Use the default option - OS X Journaled. Do NOT choose case sensitive.

Always use journaling. It virtually eliminates the need to defrag. Its a gem from the BSD world so enjoy it.. don't just pass it by. :P

The only reason to disable journaling is to increase drive write speed, which is not an issue on the Dell SSDs.

It makes no noticeable performance difference, on any drive.

Tired of wondering if your Mini9 is doing ANYTHING? - Add a HDD Activity LED
