Thanks eddiem5, sure, it seems I completely forgot.

And, same for me, works great with 512 MB but 2 GB card didn't mount.

By the way, many thanks, long life and all the best to fgodfrey and Type11.

I agree, setup a paypal account already for those of us who like to do more than just thank you with words (nice words are great). I would throw $40 your way and I think anyone who is using the software from your efforts should at least throw $10 to $20 your way.. I suspect it will add up based on the volume of this excellent forum.. :-)

I always thought that went to sourceforge?? I don't really know much about the economic setup, it was just my guess.

The donation page on the project site states :
Darwin SDHCI Driver for JMicron Devices (osxsdhci) has not opted in to receive donations

Hence my thanking with words. But I am still ready to pay them a couple of drinks, if they change their minds.

I had problems with a 2GB card myself last night after I "released" the driver. I had been testing with a 1GB card. Some 2GB cards are SDHC and some aren't. I need to figure out what's going on there - there may be a bug with 2GB cards.

As for donations, the donations link is only on the page 'cause I can't figure out how to edit the main web page Will have to ask Type11 what, if anything, he wants to do with that.

Hmm . . . I have a cheap Impact 512 MB SD card (from Walmart) and an Impact 2 GB SD card. The 512 MB card mounts without much issue. The 2 GB card comes up with an error: "Disk Insertion - The disk you inserted was not readable by this computer. Initialize/Ignore/Eject"

So I choose Initialize, and Disk Utility tries to format (reads "1.9 GB Generic SDHCI Controller Media") and returns the error "Disk Erase fail, Input/Output error' When I use an USB SD Card Reader to mount the drive on my MacBook Pro, Disk Utility (reads "Multi Flash Reader Media" - I assume because of the reader device) will format the card just fine.

If I use the USB SD Card Reader to mount the SD Card, the Mini9 reads it just fine. Thoughts?

ps. Special thanks to all who have worked so hard to make the MacBook Nano a possibility!
