Set-Up stall on 'Do you already own a Mac' - 02-04-2009, 02:15 AM
So far Ive managed to install Leopard on my dell Mini 9 using a DVD burn of the bootloader and a USB Leopard install (using the advice here much-easier-installation-of-os-x-on-an-8gb-ssd-t2715.html)
When I get to the transfer data from existing mac/time machine etc on the set-up section it crashes when i select 'do not transfer my information now' and just starts this section again.
Any ideas what i should do?

Did you boot with -f using the Type11 disc?

Looks like you are using a REALLY old, and sometimes problem prone method.
The latest, greatest "supported" methods are here:
Guides | OS X | mechdrew
BIOS A05 | USB Legacy: ON | USB Wake: OFF | Bluetooth: OFF | NBI .8.4 RC1.1 (20100616212351)
Sleep: Working | Speakers: Working | Headphone Jack: Working
