Hi, all. Long time reader, first time poster.
I originally did the OSX install on my Dell Mini using "the other" method and many folks on other forums said I should use type11's method since it's still very much an active and ongoing project.
I really like how many features that were missing in the other method are here (sleep, audio mute, etc.) and I'm going to stick with it, but there's one problem I have in this install which I didn't have in the previous which I can't seem to shake.
The audio has a very jittery sound which seems as if it's doing a time expansion. It makes everything s-s-e-e-e-e-m s-s-l-o-w-w-e-r-r than normal (and more nervous). Has anyone else come across this?
I installed the kexts which were included in 7.9, rebooted (and tried rebooting with -f through the disc). I also tried the ALC268 files. No change.
And a requisite apology if this has been covered elsewhere - a link to the solution would be great. I've searched for two days all over the web to no avail.
