hi i managed to get my dell 10v hackingtoshed, everything works ok.

if i need to upgrade any software ie: itunes do i need to do anything specific or can i just update as normal

Application updates, including iTunes, are usually fine. Just don't do any of the OS upgrades without checking here first.
