Default Please help a newbie. - 06-18-2011, 04:21 PM

Hi guys,
I have a brand new Mini 1018. I have attempted to install 10.6 (retail disk when Snow Leopard came out) using the many instructions available and continue to get the "restart" message. I have run Netbookinstaller 8.5 on the USB Install stick and nothing seems to get me past that "restart" error message. It doesn't matter whether or not Wifi works on the 1018, I can't even get the OS to install properly. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Why don't you use 0.8.4, which is more reliable.

Use NetbookBootMaker_0.8.4_RC1 on your USB install stick instead.
