Default Getting three finger swiping to work ? - 05-09-2011, 11:42 AM

Hi !
I'm currently trying to get three-finger swiping to work. The touchpad driver does recognize three-finger gesture, as I confirmed by setting the three-finger gesture to scrolling and disabling the two-finger scrolling. The problem comes when I try to swipe.

I think it has to do with my OS X localization (using French setups) :
-first of all, the keyboard layout is not the same, I figured by setting it to American that left and right swiping are supposed to emulate presses on COMMAND+[ and COMMAND+]
-it's possible that shortcuts are not the same either since those commands don't appear to be mapped to anything here (all I'm getting as a *blonk* sound), which seems logical since [ and ] chars are quite harder to make with French keyboard layout (ALT+SHIFT+5 and ALT+SHIFT+6)

Anyway here's the deal : I'd like to use three-fingers swiping, but French is mandatory, both for the keyboard and the system language. I'm afraid that the only solution would be to change the touchpad driver itself, but any other ideas are welcome !
