Default I'm at my wits' end, RETAIL 10.6.3 , usb image n dvd-rom. Also almost bricked 2100 - 05-02-2011, 05:34 PM

I am really sorry for starting a new thread but I don't know how to proceed further.

I tried to install via the DVDROM approach with NetbookCD_0.8.3.iso and the $29 RETAIL SL-10.6.3 and got a kernel panic saying about the the SleepEnabler "kext", so I went with a different approach and tried to use the first method which is using a USB image from my RETaIL SL and download the modified "10.2 mach_kernel from jamesbarnhill" using 15 day trial version of "transmac", was able to copy the mach_kernel and able to see fake RTC but this time I get a different Kernel panic on "ElliottForceLegacyRTC.kext"

panic (cpu caller 0x2a86f7): "Version mismatch between Kernel and CPU PM" @SourceCache/xnu/xnu-1486.2.11/osfmk/i386/pmCPU.c :681
Debugger called: <panic>
Backtrace (CPU 0), Frame : Return Address (4 potential args on stack)

Mac OS version:
Not yet set

Kernel version:
Darwin Kernel Version 10.2.0 Tue Nov

What is the easiest approach to complete this "install" from scratch. I really really like to abandon MS desktop OS.

1. Use "NetbookCD_0.8.3.iso" boot CD and the retail SL and fix the SleepEnabler "kext via a LINUX to compile DSDL.AML?
I don't know where to start because I'm running out of hard drive to install linux to compile. Also I cannot find a documentation on the abc's of easy compiling the "dsdt.aml" and putting it to bootable 1 Gig USB or CD/DVD with NetbookCD_0.8.3.iso

2. Or if the easiest is to use the bootable image I have and patch Elliot's stuff (POwer management RTC), by fixing the ACPI or fake power management because I am getting a KP on ACPI with "ElliottForceLegacyRTC.kext". I'm lost.
Is there a laymans guide on how to approach this? I don't mind clicking the link but english is not my native language so an easy to follow steps will be helpful.

BTW, I almost bricked my LAT2100 by downgrading the BIOS to A00 thinking my RTC will get fixed. Screen won't come up because I soup-up'ed (put 1366x768) LCD on my Lat-2100. I say to myself "I'm screwed. Luckily there is an F8 button for external VGA where I can see my display, fix the BIOS and put it to Version A05. Sigh! Then need to stop this and have to help a friend. So I lost my Linux(jolicloud) hard drive bec I loan it to a friend. His MS WIn freeqing XP hard drive was eaten by Worm and virus and he desperately needs a "PC" for his work. I cannot wait to see myself wearing a t-shirt with big print saying "I'm a MAC convert - Hello Happiness" at the back "bye-bye MS loneliness".

So now Im using a 30 day copy of Win7 ultimate just to finish this project. That is why I need some guidance desperately.

Thanks,
Tik

I have activated my copy of win7 ultimate. I guess I can comeback to this project maybe next year. Thanks to all mdm users.
