Default Carbon Cloner. Ext Hard Drive to SSD - 04-26-2011, 04:50 PM

Hi there, Ive finally got round to hackintoshing my dell mini 9. Eventually!

Now, i have the rubbish 8gb version and dont really have the cash to buy a bigger SSD, so decided to install OSX on a partition on my HDD, which is working fine on the mini. Now, after deleting languages etc, the full system sits at about 5.5gb, which is pretty sweet.

I want to try copy this and put it on my SSD so it runs naturally. I cant find any guides on this on the internet, although im sure there must be some somewhere! So if anyone could point me in the right direction or give me some quick pointers, that would be brilliant.

It is OSX version 10.6.3 if that makes any difference, and I have a native macbook if I need to do anything on that.

Thanks alot!!!

Get a copy of Carbon Copy Cloner and clone the hard drive to the SSD. Then run netbookinstaller over the newly cloned SSD drive, this will make it bootable. I would check which version you should use though.
