Default Installing OS X on External IDE HD - 01-17-2009, 07:41 PM

I've been reading the forums for quite some time, and want to thank everyone for their hard work and dedication to this project.

I recently used the Type 11 instructions to install OS X on an external IDE Hard Drive. I am stuck. The installation worked, as per the instructions. I got the error message at the end, and was prompted to reboot. I rebooted using the boot cd, and I'm stuck not knowing which hexadecimal code to chose for my external hard drive. 80 brings me to my Windows XP install, since it's the internal drive.

I must have entered 50+ hex combos not knowing which one it could be.

Any one else have a similar issue, or have a list of known hex codes to try?
