Default Xcode on Dell mini 1010 (can I upgrade to 10.6.4?) - 03-05-2011, 03:42 PM

Hi! I recently changed my Win7 dell mini 1010 to OSX 10.6.2 from this guide: How To install OSX on Mini10
I'm looking to experiment in programming for the Iphone so I downloaded Xcode and the Iphone SDK. It went well until it told me I had to update to 10.6.4 in order to install.

So, can I upgrade to 10.6.4? If so, is it just a straight install or do I need to do some fiddling? Thanks in advance!

On the mini 9 and 10v, going to 10.6.4 requires the use of a different version of NBI. This is the version you would need-

I have zero experience doing any OS X work on a mini 1010 however, so use your best judgment.

Mini 9 | OS X 10.6.7 | NBI 20100616212351| BIOS 05 | 32 GB Runcore | 2 GIGS RAM
10V | OS X 10.6.7 | NBI 20100616212351 |BIOS 06|160 GB|1 GIG RAM| 6 Cell Dell Battery
Functioning Hibernation

Back up Mini 9| OS X 10.6.7| NBI 20100616212351| BIOS 05 | 32 GB SuperTalent | 2 GIGS RAM
