(keys are already set up right!, plus I can connect the mouse though the keaybord and save a port on the mini.) We have two iMacs in the house in our library/study area for the kids. I set up my "docking station" in my room so my wife and I can work in privacy if needed and not have to wait in line behind the kids! I like the ability to have the mini amywhere in the house I need it as well. I have been doing alot of iPhoto work lately, consolodating photos from my old laptop PC and the iMacs, and working with my MobileME photo galleries. After the initial install, and the 7.7 / 10.5.6 upgrades, the system has been stable, no issues. I also use Time Machine (just in case!) and it works great as well. |

So the programs run exactly as they normally would on a real Mac. For the budget minded, I feel it's a better option than a roughly equivelantly priced G4 iBook/MacBook because the Intel processor makes it more compatible with the current generation of OSX software. |
