Default 10v 10.6.3 -> 10.6.5 - 11-21-2010, 10:44 PM

Hey guys, I have successfully installed 10.6.3 on my dell mini 10v using the retail SL disc and NetbookBootMaker 0.8.4 RC1. Everything works great right after the install. I was hoping to upgrade to 10.6.5 and was wondering what steps I should take to do so.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

I've actually gone through the entire thread before and no one really answers my question.

Post #4 and #14 pretty much answer your question.

Run the NBI from the 10.6.4 thread, post #1 then do the update.

When the mini reboots it can take 20 minutes or more before you get back to your desktop, you will see the NBI logo during boot, NBI is at this point running so don't get frustrated and shut it off thinking it is broken, or it will be.

underwhelmed, I really appreciate your help!
I ran the 10.6.4 NBI before running the 10.6.5 update and after it rebooted, it did its thing with the NBI logo and once it logged in, my screen was purely in black and white. Couldnt make out any letters or graphics, it was just black and white of nothing. I could still move around and click stuff but its unusable at this point. I safe booted which brought the screen back and disabled wifi/sound and ran the 10.6.4 NBI again and rebooted and I have the same thing.

I hit the power button and that middle white box came up, im assuming thats the warning before shutdown or reboot. I can click on the top right corner and a vertical white box would appear for spotlight. The screen also flickers as I move and click stuff.

Weird thing is, the mouse spinning wheel is still in color so whats going on lol

Any ideas?
