Default need help with reinstalling OSX - 11-21-2010, 07:49 PM

The update to 10.6.5 messed up my Hackintosh, so I'm going to redo it and start from scratch. I have the Snow Leopard Disk, but it is version 10.6.1.

What NBI do I use?

I am using the take out the mini hard drive and put it in an enclosed usb drive cover and go thru my Macbook way.

Thanks in advance.

This one

After installing the 10.6.5 update I would run it again before restarting. If on a Mini9 you will probably then have to run the hibernate terminal commands to fix sleep and will definitely have to run the mic fix if you want that.

On the 10V just run the "hibernate image too old" terminal commands to get rid of that message and you should be good to go.
