Just completed the 10.6.5 update without a problem. NBI ran after the update as expected and so far everything is running smoothly. It may be in my head, but things seem a bit more snappier now too and reported battery life from full charge has gone back to what it used to be back in 10.5.8 days ~4:15 BIOS A06 | DellEFI 1.2a5 | 10.5.8 | Windows XP SP3 |

Update: Ran NBI 0.8.4 RC1, did the install via Software Update, rebooted, and it hung at the apple logo. I tried rebooting again same thing. I booted with -x -f -s- v and I managed to make it with a blue wallpaper and cursor but nothing more. Before it goes blue it shows "Waiting for DSMOS..." for a while. How can I fix this? I did try a -x and -v and I made it to a command prompt login but no GUI. I'm sick of OS X on my netbook. I'm gonna try Windows XP ontop of OS X if I can't get it working and see how quick it is. |

mini9, run NIB 20100616212351 after 10.6.5 update have no sound. run UpdateExtra-app (Akkis "Bundle for fixing Mini 9 Sound & Mic"), restart ... everything works fine! thanks a million  |
