better stick with 10v, 1012 and 1018 are similar, it loads, but not working with everything.

Not so fast...I've got a quasi-successful installation of SL 10.6.3 on a mini 1018.

Camera: Working.
USB: working
Battery: Working but shows wrong percent but remaining time is ok (wt..?)
Wifi: Not yet...
Ethernet: Not yet
Audio: Not yet but I'm going to try kext's for 10v. I selected voodooHDA but sound is barely perceptible. Any suggestions?
VGA: shows only 800x600 but I assume that the resolution is higher for what I can appreciate.
Keyboard and pad: OK
Internet: through mobile usb modem.

Facts:
PC temperature seems to be lower than under W7 or Ubuntu 10.10.
But video is really slow. I appreciate any recommendation abt that.

That's what you call success? About the only thing you don't have is a kernel panic. It failed everything else. The video stuck at a low res and being slow is due to the video not being supported, which will forever make that a worthless machine to do the install on. Video drivers have proven to be a bridge too far for the hacker community to write on their own. And without someone writing video drivers from scratch, it's not going to magically start working.
