Windows 7 beta uses GUID partitioning by default so dual booting will be a lot easier to do . one problem is that if you have formated the EFI partition for use with type 11, it will make a second and take another 200 megs of space. if you install windows 7 before doing the type 11 thing, it will only have 1. I am currently installing it and hoping the bootloader sees it.

To install this you will need to wipe the system completely. installing 7 deleted the efi boot and having 2 does not work.

I will post a how-to in a little while. currently i am putting the OSx installer, windows 7 32 bit and windows 7 64 bit on a 16 gb flashdrive. after that its done i will start installing.

I guess it does not use GUID but the reason it installed for me is because when i formated it in mac os x it did the same thing a real mac does, which is make the 4th partition MBR. So the method i post will work for XP,Vista or Windows 7

That's cool, I'll happily delete that crazy convoluted method we have and replace it with an easier one if you write it.

I got both installed and booting correctly, i just cant get them both in the same bootloader. i am going to try elilo
