you can stop the update nags by turning SU off Auto in systems preferences, that's if i'm understanding what you mean.

Only yesterday I was able to get Snow Leopard running on my Dell Mini 10V, worked fine until I updated to 10.6.4 and installed Security Updates and the Graphics Update. After fixing the kernel panic (Several reboots and NBI's later) I managed to boot back into Snow Leopard, only to have no sound or WIFI detected, anybody got a fix other than reinstalling Snow Leopard and just not doing the updates?

Fixed, updated to 10.6.4 and decided not to update anything, I now have sound and Wifi
