| Junior Member Posts: 16 Join Date: Oct 2008 | I purchased and just received the lid from an old Powerbook. The clear plastic piece is just glued in place with a very thin sheet of white plastic placed over it to give it the white color. I'm going to use the original lid as a template, trace it onto the Mini's lid and then take a dremel to it. No idea how I'm going to light it up yet, but that seems to be the easy part once the major surgery is complete. |

| Guru Posts: 1,744 Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Olalla, WA | Use a frickin laser! hehe.. really, call around to local sign shops, find a vector drawing of the Apple logo online, it can be scaled to the exact size of the Apple logo you have, and then the Apple logo will be a press fit into the opening you cut. |
