Hey everyone,
I have a serious problem, I was using my Dell Mini 10v a week ago, when all of a sudden, it turned black, so I had to turn it off with power button, and switch it on again.
However when I turned it on it said:
"EBIOS read error: Media error
block 0x296c08 sectors 0"

I had no idea what to do, so I turned to meklort in e-mail. He said to me, that the bootloader is corrupt, so I need to reinstall it. I tried to boot from a flash drive (with nbi on it), but after the gray screen, it wrote the same error message out.

Now I'm in the middle of nowhere... So please help me.

Check my post here.

In short, your HD is hosed.
I had a STEC SSD, I've no idea what HD is in your Dell.

I changed the SSD by a RunCore and everything is fine.

Same problem here.
My SSD is still showing up in the BIOS, it recognizes the brand and size, so does that really mean that it's shot?
