Thank you so much for the suggestion. I tried it and was able to reinstall the NBI. However when rebooting I saw no difference. it still gives me the alternating screens. Good work thought!!!

sorry it wasnt clear you were talking triple boot! i think maybe you were looking at/ using the wrong guide. i know nothing about triple boot but maybe this thread is what you need:

appleguru you are the man. I could not figure out how to do anything with the error until I typed -recovery=y and it apparently worked. Thank you for putting that info on. Now I am using my Dell mini once again.

I'm new to hackintosh, I'd like to know what's needed to install snow leopard 10.6.3 on my mini 1012. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Where do I begin? All I've seen thus far is people already installed and updating
