Thank you so much!!!

This latest app revision worked flawlessly!!

I had installed mine 10.6.0. Everything would work except the built-in mouse and keyboard.

Upgraded to 10.6.4 and it would not boot up at all unless I booted up using the USB disk by pressing F12, going to the USB loader and then loading from the Macintosh HD.

Didn't have wifi, or sound and many more features.

Installed your patch, now rebooting works fine and everything is working back again!

Thank you!!

Dell Mini 10V, installed 10.6.3 from DVD, I updated to .4 with this patch, works perfect, try to upgrade to Chameleon RC4 and booting fails with something that goes away too fast to see but something that starts with EFI, but I could put my RC4 USB flash drive image back in, boot from USB to HD...reinstalled the patch, rebooted, worked perfect, I guess RC3 is the key to .4?

Just made the upgrade to 10.6.4 (from 10.6.3) after running NBI 201006--blah-blah-blah on my 10v. Happy to report that everything's great so far. Even got a little extra disk space back.

Battery gauge was notably absent on the first couple reboots, but it's back now. Audio-both in and out--worked immediately.

EDIT: IT WORKS! Just had to upgrade the BIOS to A06, and disable legacy USB support.
Mine has started to do this since the 10.6.4 update, very annoying as Wi-Fi also fails when you resume from sleep. Already on A06 with legacy USB support disabled.

Anyone know how to fix?

Upgrading from 10.6.3 to 10.6.4, on a Mini 10v, I did exactly as stated in first post:

***UPDATED 10.6.4 Upgrade Instructions***
1) Install this version of NBI (From post 67):
2) Install the 10.6.4 update.
3) Once it reboots, you should see the NBI logo at boot. Be patient until it reboots (takes a while).

Everything works fine. Menus, Sleep, Audio, Wireless, Time Machine, Screen Saver.
Mini 10v, 2GB, 320GB, Snow Leopard 10.6.4, Windows 7 Ultimate.

Just did my Mini 9 following the same path, upgrading 10.6.3 to 10.6.4. I used the prescribed NetbookInstaller, ran the 10.6.4 combo update, waited patiently on the restart, and BAM! Everything works fine! No kernal panic, no faulty WiFi, no Bluetooth blues. This is a "factory" Mini 9 with 2GB RAM and a 32GB SSD (FEM32GFDL). Meklort Rocks! I had held-off the 10.6.4 update because of all the mayhem reported here, but if you did your original installation correctly I believe the update to 10.6.4 will be painless for you too.

And thanks Shooter! That is a cool pic of the boys!

I'm happy to report a successful update to 10.6.4 after applying the NBI 20100616212351 to my 10.6.3 installation. Needed a couple of reboots to pick up the audio.

How long does the NBI boot icon stay up typically? I've been waiting about an hour and the wheel is still spinning... :\ I have 3 more hours at work, so hopefully it'll go thru fine.
