Nope, I couldnt find any information about it before I installed it so I tried it out and I thought since it was released today it might actually be useful to post my experience.


Edit: I forgot to say, in one of those screnshots you'll see it says 0% battery power, I did the upgrade while in class running from battery and well I'm still in class so I haven't yet tried it on AC power, but maybe it gives a kernel panic when you boot when connected to AC?

Just done the update to 10.6.4 and every thing is OK. No kernel panic no nothing.
Only thing CAM didn't work but i rune the NBI 0.8.4 RC1 and just chose Install DELL MINI 10v Extensions then re star and every thing was OK.

I have the DELL MINI 10v.

Is that what you need?

Does the backtrace list what kext panicked?

EDIT: It *should* say AppleIntelCPUPM.kext (or similar), and in any case, boot with recover=y and it'll at least start up without the panic.

I followed your instructions to reinstall the 10v extensions and now my battery is working properly NBI is really incredible

Thanks Meklort, recovery=y got me booted past KP, then re-ran NBI 0.8.4 RC1, all working, easy enough fix

Was running OS X 10.6.3 and NBI 0.8.4RC1 and ran OS X 10.6.4 Combo update. Got:

Updated...Got KP...did a recovery=y and got past boot...will i have to use recovery=y everytime i reboot mini?

The restart screen is blocking which kext panicked. Any way around this to see it and give you the info? "AppleInte..." is all I can see. Also how do I boot with the recover=y?
