OK, I must be extra stupid.
I have a MacBook, a retail (family pack) Leopard DVD, and a 32 GB RunCore SSD
I plugged the RunCore into a USB port on the MacBook using the supplied cable. Started up the MacBook from the Leopard DVD, and after selecting English as the language, I got an error saying that "Mac OS X cannot be installed on this Mac."
So, I ran Disk Utility and erased the RunCore, formatting it as Mac OS X Extended (Journaled), and tried the installation again. Same error. The installer won't seem to let me select the RunCore to install upon. Any clues? Thanks.
