So now I had my mini running for a couple months and launched apple and got told i should update software so i did now it just says hold down the power button until the "Mac" shuts down and let it reboot to finish the upgrade. It never does or says anything different? And now I have to use a thumb drive to boot into the windows side every time or i get the windows error hit enter to continue loop????

Did you run NetbookInstaller (NBI) 0.8.4RC1 before updating? You should do that a ASAP....

Your only option may be to do a fresh install. Hope you're backed up. :-\

Try posting in the Mac OSX forums with your appropriate machine and see if you can get more responses, though.
