Default Problems with Broadband dongle on Mini 9 - 04-29-2010, 07:21 AM

Hi guys,

I've finally installed Snow Leopard 10.6.3 onto my Dell Mini.

I've got a Virgin Broadband HUAWEI Mobile Broadband dongle, model E169.

I have the latest install software for this device that works on my MBP with Snow Leopard.

The device is detected, but the software fails to load up.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

-Kappa

I had more or less this problem, my fix was to go to the Huawie web site and load the appropriate dongle connection drivers for OSX, install and then use OSX connection app in 'network' to connect independently of any 3 third party firmware.
