Default Regular HD okay for Hackintosh - 04-13-2010, 05:56 PM

I have a Mini 9 running 10.6.3 with a 32GB SSD and I love it. Now my son wants one. Can I use a configuration with a regular HD and still have it work. Are there specific Hard Disks I should look for?

Is the SSD so frequent because it so cool or because it's required.

Thanks, Tom

HD is fine but mini 9s only have SSDs. Mini 10v has HD and will do the job.

Mini 9 | Mac OS X 10.6.5 | 2 GB RAM | 64 GB Stock STEC SSD | BIOS A05 | USB Legacy Mode: OFF | Bluetooth: OFF | NBI 0.8.4(20100616212351)
