Firstly, thanks to all for the great work in making it relatively painless to install Leopard on a Mini. I just installed it via the Type 11 (v 7.1) method with a Leopard Retail Disc, and using the step-by-step FAQ for installing it on the internal 8 GB SSD
, with 10.5.6. Everything works as expected, except audio is very choppy constantly, from all audio sources: system sounds, mp3's/m4a's in iTunes, audio from xvid files in Quicktime and mkv files in VLC.
The odd part is that if I put my finger on the trackpad, the choppiness goes away and the audio plays just fine. The moment I take my finger off, it returns. I don't even have to be moving the mouse pointer around, I can just have my finger sitting there and it will be fine. Has anyone seen this kind of behavior, or know how I might remedy it? Thanks.
