Ok, I got it updated. The only issue I had was that my keyboard and touchpad stopped working after the second reboot, so I had to power it off then back on and everything seems to be working. I read something about repairing permissions how do you do this and is it necessary?
Well the keyboard and touchpad locked up again and I had to hard restart. I have not read about this happening. Anyone know of any thing to try to fix this?
Ok I have one more problem and I've been working on this for hours. After updating it broke my boot menu. Before when I booted it would stop at the book screen and let me choose whether to boot into 7 or OSX. I've added the following to /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist file
I have gotten it to work before but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. The contents of the file are:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<!DOCTYPE plist PUBLIC "-//Apple Computer//DTD PLIST 1.0//EN" "http://www.apple.com/DTDs/PropertyList-1.0.dtd">
I can't figure out where that text should go. Thanks for any help
