I love it...BTW, I used to be in Dell Tech Support...a "Dirty Install" is slang for a reimage without formatting first, which is contrary to policy as it doesn't insure a problem resolution...it will, however, keep the data intact.

. I used the "Windows Alternative #1" method to prepare the key. Treat it just like a fresh install, except stay away from Disk Utility and use the same account names and passwords you were already using. The system will come back at 10.6.
After you are back in, run the new NBI and rerun the the 10.6.3 update. Then go back in and turn off the stupid Legacy USB support so sleep will start working, and drink a beer to celebrate knowing about this great site.
