  4. Reboot your Mini
Remember, with .8.4 releases NBI runs automatically when necessary (at least with OSX 10.6.1 - 10.6.3).

I did this and worked very well, thanks, but now I'm not able to boot in safe boot, with NBI .8.3 I kept shift pressed when NBI was booting, now with NBI .8.4 is not working, is there another way to boot safe?

edit: I opened a new thread about this.

Upgraded to 0.8.4 RC1, upgraded 10.6.3 through Software Update, everything went well. Audio, sleep, etc. works fine.

Thanks melkort and membership. What a community.

Thanks for the clear, easy directions. With a little patience everything worked great.

I still get the intermittent (although more often than not) sleep problem
also, cannot turn BT off
Cannot turn WLAN back on, if I turn it off

I suspect, although not enough evidence, that it can be triggered by the touchpad and keys...

Ah, OK... it was just a thought. It seems some of us have bad sleep behaviour and some don't. I was trying to find a common denominator but bluetooth ain't it...

Since there was only one report of a problem on a dual boot 10v, I decided to try it. Worked like a charm. No issues. I was running 10.6.1 and there was an extensive list of updates when I ran Software Update.

1. Install 0.8.4 RC1
2. Restarted to make sure Win7 worked. It did.
3. Rebooted OSX and ran the 10.6.3 Combo.
4. After the install was complete, I ran Software Update and installed everything listed.

Default Natural Ice - 04-07-2010, 12:12 AM

Came home from work, played with the boy, drank two Natural Ice, and in a moment of negligence clicked on "update now" (10.6.3) for my Mini 10V / NBI 8.3/ 10.6.2.
Ofcourse everything is down now.
I used the HD swap with my MacBook as Install method.
What is the fix? Swapping and new installing?
I feel like a Big Big Fool.

Just ran NBI on my 10v
Now I'm staring at my desktop background with a cursor.
I can see it flicker the way I'd expect a hard drive light to flicker when it's doing something. Also turns into a beach ball ever second or so. Been like this for about thirty minutes. Is this normal?

can someone please tell me how this update benefits SL on my mini?
I tried looking at the changelog, and noticed that they updated programs that I don't even have installed.
