I had issues with mine after installing Safari 4.0.5...reinstalled NBI and was good to go.

The reason one might need to reinstall NBI is because Safari is not like most any other app on OS X, when one installs Safari it makes fundamental changes to OS X in the process. The Safari Browser is linked to the OS unlike most other apps, including other Apple-Made apps.

I think you misunderstood me - I meant why did you have problems as opposed to just making a comment without any reasoning to your situation (maybe elaborate on 'I had issues').

It may help others who are unsure if to install the upgrade to Safari.

As always back up before doing any kinda update/upgrade ..

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think the newest Safari update improved
my wifi quite a lot. It was taking a while after a reboot to establish
the wifi connection, now it's instant.
Safari update notes mention something about the wifi improvements
with the 3rd party cards...
BTW, thank you all for your effort, my 10v works like a charm.
Great battery life, everything is perfect, thanks!

No NBI required for me. But I use Chrome and only did the upgrade as a matter of thoroughness.

No NBI for me either. Restarted with no issues, Safari fired up right away as well.
