Default Jump drive backup of install - 02-26-2010, 01:16 AM

Hey guys i successfully installed mac osx on my 10v mini and i used a jump drive for it. I borrowed it from a friend it was all set up to just plug it in. Is there any way i can make a backup image of the jump drive that way in the future i wont need to borrow his drive? like copy from one to another or from the drive to a img file that can later be restored. Thanks!

I believe Carbon Copy Cloner is popular OSX disk imaging software.

Couldn't you also just use Disk Utility to make a dmg of the drive?
