Default Installed OS X on External HDD with XP Pro on Internal - 02-22-2010, 03:17 AM

Hello! New to this forum! Anyhow, I am running XP Pro sp3 on my internal 60GB HD -- and I just installed OSX Leopard on a 500 gb external WD USB drive. I cannot figure out how to boot the OS X? When XP is booting, I press F8 and see an option to boot from the external HDD -- but when I choose that option it starts booting up windows XP? If I go into my bios and choose boot order that way, the external HDD does not show up there! So what tool or program can I use to bring up a boot selection menu and allow me to choose boot into Win XP or OS X?? Any detailed instructions would he awesome. Possibly add a program to a flash drive and within XP install from the flash drive??? Wold chameleon work and if so I have never used it so new to that too. Thanks bunches!!!!!
