| Member Posts: 31 Join Date: Aug 2009 | try going to Insanelymac.com you might find some research as far as building your own laptop, or desktop for that matter thats compatible with OSX. I installed OSX on my compaq desktop with little to no trouble with the help from this webiste. hope this helps |

It'll save you about $400 for the same configuration (plus, you get prerelease software and 10.7 for free when it comes out).
