First of all, thanks for all the great info on the site. I put together a Mini 10V with OSX on it for my brother and didn't want to give it back to him. So I 'built' one for myself and have been completely
thrilled. Mine arrived the very day of the iPad announcement, and I am very happy I went this way instead (Sorry Steve, maybe a rev 2 will entice me).
Anyway, I've been wondering about the system updates that come down the pike from time to time. I did the first one after I got things running, then had to fix the audio...which was no big deal. But once I get my system the way I like it, I'd kind of like to go into straight 'user mode' and just use it normally and not worry about tweaking it...that's sort of the point of the Apple for me, set it and forget it.
So I have a couple of questions...
- In the past, how often has a system update broken things?
- What percentage of those updates would you say breaks the setup?
- Does running the Netbook Installer often fix those changes?
Once again, thanks for all the great info, and I apologize for the possibly newbie questions.
