I think I'm having this problem as well. However, it seems to happen regardless of the program as long as I am using the down key. I have been using only the trackpad and avoiding the down key and so far, haven't experienced a kernal panic yet. Wonder if anyone has figured out a fix for this?

I'm having the same problem, but it's not limited to just the arrow keys; it happens most often to me when I'm backspacing, which really sucks. It's not limited to just those keys, but happens with them the most often.

I've tried almost everything except a full reinstall and I'm just not willing to do that yet. A few people suggested disabling spotlight indexing as a fix, and it seemed to help a little bit, though I've no idea why.

To me it seems like a problem with the entire keyboard. If someone has a fix for this, you'd be my new hero.
