Hi I bought my dell mini 10v second-hand and it came with leopard os x. But I dont want leopard os x anymore. I have the windows xp start up disk with my external cd drive and it wont let me run setup.exe. Im very confused and I need help please.

You have to boot from the CD-ROM. Turn on the 10v, at the Dell BIOS screen press F12 for the boot menu, and select the drive. You can't run setup.exe (or anything else on that disc) from inside OS X.
