Default Browser CPU and Battery Life (With Graphs) - 01-14-2010, 11:07 PM

Which one uses the least... for battery life purposes.
(Currently, I am using Chrome but scrolling is awful)

The graphs I added come form Activity Monitor
Sorry for not including Safari....

Why not run your own tests? It's likely not a topic of broad interest.

Didn't know sunrise but after a while it seems to me that opera and firefox are harder in terms of CPU use than Safari.

I put an adblocker for and a flashblocker to it and it's really better than before. I wanted to test swiron with an adblocker but it's not compiled for osx yet.

How did you proceed for your tests ?
the time lenght didn't seems to be the same for all and it's odd for me.

If you really want to optimize cpu use and battery life you should use Lynx.
