[let me remind you that it is always a good idea to check/repair permissions after any OS upgrade. you can do this with Disk Utility or applications such as OnyX]Upgrade Instructions :
![]() [for more detailed installation instructions for those who are not simply updating their current OSX installation... please see Mechdrew's site (link in my signature -- replacing any links to NetbookInstaller/NetbookBootMaker with the version you wish to use)] NetbookInstaller .8.3 Final includes many changes. Please see the change log on the Google Code page. **Also see Meklort's Blog for further information and details!!** Other Thoughts : Remember to report any and all bugs you encounter to the Google Code bug tracker. This allows us to track issues with NetbookInstaller and keep up on fixing any bugs. (It is extremely hard to remember bugs reported on the forums and is nearly impossible to keep up with all of the discussions. The forums are a great place to discuss problems and talk with other members about possible fixes, but you should always submit a bug report so that your issues are not overlooked) Finally, remember to support your developers for their hard work and time invested into the project ![]() NBI and NBM downloads | Meklort's Blog | Meklort's Announcement --------------------------------------------------------------- This version of NetbookBootMaker / NetbookInstaller is now the latest official release and any development or questions should be based upon this current release. | Junior Member Posts: 9 Join Date: Nov 2009 | I have installed the updated 0.8.3 directly from Mac to SSD/HDD. I don't have reboot loop anymore, mini seems to be starting but then gets stuck on the apple and pin wheel screen. The same happens in the safe mode. Please advise. Thanks! ---------- Post added at 05:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 05:27 PM ---------- in verbose mode the boot process stops at the message "SMC is stuck and cannot recover". Hope it helps. |

I had to use it myself to fix my bootloader. It works this time. http://osx.mechdrew.com - News and Guides for Installing Mac OS X via NetbookInstaller - Now on Twitter |
