Default Problems with method 2. - 12-08-2009, 04:13 AM

So i'm using the two USB stick method (method 2) to install OSX on my 10v. Every time the installer starts to go I get an error screen that sas AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement is causing a panic. Then it tells me I must restart my computer. I've been reading that I just need to disable AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext in order to get installation working. The problem is the guide doesn't say anything about how to do that.

I'm wondering if there is a way to disable that pesky kext while maintaining a bootload from the two USB keys.

I don't have access to a mac, the two USB key solution is my only option.

Thanks in advance.
