Hello, this is my first post here and I want to thank you a lot for this tip. My Dell Mini 9 was bricked after the battery get empty for no reason (it was constantly plugged on power source). I couldn't start it anymore. The Fn+b tip didn't work (several beeps but nothing else). I tried with few hope the hold fn+power for 30 seconds + reattach the power ac adaptor : and it worked like a charm. The battery is now slowly charging on Ubuntu.
I couldn't thank you enough for this solution !!!
I hope it will help other people having this problem.
